– Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Energy and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 1.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP), which rose 5.57% or 15.00 points to trade at 283.13 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 4.68% or 2.06 points to end at 46.12 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 4.39% or 4.1 points to 98.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which fell 4.59% or 5.10 points to trade at 105.90 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.54% or 11.20 points to end at 429.00 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MOWI) was down 1.94% or 3.70 points to 187.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 122 to 64 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.44% or 1.28 to $53.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.39% or 1.47 to hit $62.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.55 to trade at $1312.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.35% to 9.7936, while USD/NOK fell 0.70% to 8.6558.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 96.618.
